sticky situation

I transferred £300 to my bank account as my husbands wage didn't go in and the direct debits would have bounced. I also got holiday pay of about £200 from an agency I left. The problem I have now is that I dont know where that money is, I'm actually overdrawn.
We've only had one wage this year which hasn't been good but spending all that and not knowing what on scares me, I didn't buy food this month as there was so much in.. I have sorted out all the paperwork and have a rough figure of £10000 of debt as a start point, two are credit cards 7 are council tax which I have buried my head with. I got the bank details for them to start sending money.

I'm really stuck this month, the car failed the mot, its £600 to pass it and tax it which is what's left after direct debits.

I'm just not sure what to do now, I have to change things now as we have just moved and I want to be better prepared in case there's any more debts

If you could post a statement of affairs, that would be helpful.

  • Do you really need a car?

If there's money gone from your bank but you don't know where it is check you haven't been the victim of bank fraud. I have 4 times. They start by taking small amounts out and then hit you with a whammy.

I've just done the calculator but I can't post links.

I don't think someones taking money, I think we're just not thinking about it enough, although I have been sent two lots of cards, pin numbers and statements a couple of months back. I might speak to the bank about it.
We really need the car, I think that's why it cost so much, its done so many miles!
Is there another way to put my spends up?

You don't need to paste a link?

You fill in the SOA and press the calculate button. Then you click the MSE button underneath where it says
Format results for discussion boards (optional)

You then follow the instructions which basically tell you how to copy and paste the information onto here.

I've copied and pasted what's in the box. I'm not on a computer, I'm on my phone but it still copies and pastes

The other income is from the house being rented out, they missed 3 months payment and still owe 800-900 they are on housing benefit now, I put it in as there is 125 extra after the mortgage, except that I get paid every 4 weeks which makes it 392 but they keep switching to fortnightly too. They are on notice but I need 175 to get it to court.
I have a parking fine to pay too which is £50

    Hi

Do you have two houses? One you live in that is mortgaged and one you rent out that is mortgage free? Or vis versa?

If (and I say if) that is the case why not just sell one of them, clear your debts and start afresh?
