That looks to me as if the OR has managed to successfully negotiate cancellation of the aoe.

I'd still speak to payroll first tomorrow, then go from there and speak to the Court if payroll haven't received anything.

As I suggested earlier, it may just be that payroll have received the cancellation but too late to action it for this month. Let's hope it's that simple.

If not, then at least you have the right info from Fermi now - sorry if I misled you by not knowing.

Well, that is dated 19th September. Getting on for month and 1/2 ago!!!

When have AOE payments been deducted since then?

You could excuse one shortly after that being taken, as the message may have taken a while longer to get through.

If they are still taking recent AOE payments and haven't instructed your employer to stop, then clearly you need to take proactive measures to have them stopped yourself. via the court if needed.

They've been taken at the end of September and now the end of October.

I work for quite a big international company so it's going to be a struggle to get the info I need before I'm due to make my first payment on Tuesday... the payroll team are based in India and quite difficult to deal with.

I've just sent an email to the or and I'll try and call them tomorrow to see what they suggest I do in the short term... I'll ask them if they want me to deduct the aoe and pay the rest.

I can't believe this is happening, I thought the worry had all gone but now it's come back and I'm thinking about it non-stop again again :(

Sorry I have just seen this - thanks Fermi.

It should be pretty straight forward to stop the attachment if it is still going by sending (or taking) a copy of your bankruptcy order to the court that administers your attachment and cross referencing it with the case number. The court will then be able to discharge it and inform CAPS and your employer to cease payments.

It sounds though as if the wheels may already be in motion to sort this so to save you a journey down to court either ring your court or CAPS (0845 408 5312) in the morning to see if it has been discharged xx

    Hi guys,

An update on this for you. I actually found the letter from the court saying the aoe had been discharged on the 14/09 so I know it's all been sorted.

So I called the or yesterday and they were very helpful and are trying to work out why it hasn't stopped coming out of my pay. I've also emailed my payroll department and waiting a response. The or told me to contact Moon Beever about the payments. And they sent Moon Beever a message telling them what's going on.

So I contacted them afterwards and to be honest found them a bit standoffish. They said they have no idea about the aoe and basically want led to know what they had to do with it. But I explained everything and they saw a note from the or explaining things and they offered me putting the payments off for a month or paying the ipa minus the aoe... so I've chosen the latter as I want to get the payments started.

So now I have to hope my payroll department get their act together and stop paying it immediately.
