Can Scottish power transfer money from different accounts?

I have just change suppliers and received final bills for both electricity and gas. Gas was a direct debt standard account. Electricity was a prepayment meter. They were two separate accounts with seperate account numbers.
Final electricity bill was £56 which im not happy about as they said on the last bill the meter was set to take the debt off us over several weeks (debt due to their incompetance in the first place for not increasing prices when it should be automatically done anyway). The meter was never even set to recover the debt of £45 therefore has increased.
Final gas we are £670 in credit (yet they still increased the dd by £1 a month on two occasions)...
They have sent a letter for us to pay remaining electricity bill but have now sent another stating they are taking it off the gas credit and sending a cheque out for the remaining.
Can they do money from one account to pay another??

Yes they can as it will be a linked account.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
