Its kind of expensive for a stocking filler but what about an expereince day?Hi
I have 4 children
boys 13,19 and nearly 23
girl 17
I need ideas what to get them for stocking fillers as their main present is money but the trouble is they have everything or they buy it themselves if they want it
so far ive bought them each a cineworld voucher and am going to make a hamper up for them
i will buy smellies and underwear as the older boys tend to forget to buy themselves that:rotfl:
i will also make a retro sweet box for them each and a pot of gold with scratch cards for the older 3
But im stuck on anything else they each have phones and download music for them
they have computor consoles and as my oldest son buys mountains of dvds everyone get to watch them
It was soo much easier when they were younger and they played with toys lol:rotfl:
my daughter is not a girlie girl so not into make up etc so another thing ruled out
Has anybody got any more ideas please as i like to get them things they dont know about but im struggling this year
thanks in advance
You could pay for them all to go paintballing together or something?
HTH

Hello
For your daughter I would suggest - A book of she reads, A bath bomb from LUSH, New bobbles, Hair Spray, Little candle, Socks, Scarf or maybe gloves, New belt?, New brush, and maybe a little gift coucher if your really struggling. - Perrsonalised key ring / mug
Boys/ Men - Socks, Underwear, Hair gel, Slippers, Belt, Aftershave, shaving gel, personalised key ring/mug.Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher a storm, but to add colour to my sunset sky.
- Finally on the property ladder :rotfl: 06/13
- Finally became Mrs C 01/14 :heartpuls

I always buy my sons (and husband) football socks as they are always moaning they can't find them. Newitts have different colour nike ones for about £3.50. I am also doing the retro sweet boxes, Lynx, book, boxer shorts etc. Probably buy them box of Roses, Celebrations etc each. Think I saw them for £2 somewhere???
I don't bother with the novelty stuff any more cos they just weren't interested and ended up in the charity bag.
Just thinking might do mine a football mug with different flavour hot chocolate in and marshmallows.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
I always like stocking fillers of lil' fun bits that can pass some time over christmas. Things like puzzles and games, stupid things like fortune telling fish from hawkins bazar that can be passed about the table after dinner. Playing cards, dice with homemade yahtzee score cards, trivial pursuit cards. I'm 24 and get things like this and love it!0

personalised keyring is another good idea as they have already got mugs with names and football team
I am also getting them hats n gloves
thanks so much for your ideas0 -

hi, my kids are 14 girl. 16 boy and 20 girl.
the girls are the easiest i must admit
for all of them money goes in a money wallet inside their xmas card
big presents go in a ginormous santa sack, eg dressing gowns slippers pyjamas etc
smaller presents go in a poundland felt sack (lined with a pillowcase cos they rip) eg xmas mug, bubble bath, pants socks etc
proper proper xmas stockings require much smaller items wrapped or unwrapped
this is my ideas this year ( i make lists and get a few each week)
both of them boys and girls get some sweets and chocolates to fill the stocking out , from either sainsburys, poundland, wilkos or supersavers
tubes of smarties, jelly tots, etc, a large candy cane stick from mr timms, a bag of gold coins, a sugar mouse, a chocolate father xmas (from sainsburys £1) a small ferero rocher (poundland) a small box of roses and small box quality street ( sainsburys £1) jelly beans
then the small presents i get the girls make up , nail varnish, mascara, lipgloss, bodysprays, hair conditioner sachets, make up brushes , make up purse, emery boards, hairclips, toe separator things.manicure sets, spot cream (poundland).
other items such as a bath bomb, face mask sachets, small novelty stationery items from places like accessorize or paperchase, any small items of jewellery discounted during the year from topshop, claires etc, keyrings, brooches, a mini hairbrush ( poundland) vouchers for local shops eg starbucks, subway, a scratchcard and if theres space dec/jan issue of their fav mag eg glamour or shout. hats, scarves, gloves, cosy toes bed socks thingies, everyday socks, ski socks, boot socks, purses, sunglasses, legwarmers, earmuffs, hot water bottles.
my son gets the sweets and chocolates as above, in addition i get him a lot of toiletries also such as tissues, magic flannel/towel, comb, brush, toothbrush, spot cream, lynx bullet thingies, lynx spray, soap, shower gel, deoderants, mens face mask sachets (supersavers) shave balm, razors, face scrub, hair gel,
stationery type items i get memo pads, usb stick, keyrings, new pencil case, new wallet, belts, pants, socks, hats, x box magazine, fhm magazine, condoms, calender, diary
everything in the xmas stocking if its small and if it wont fit the excess goes into the poundland sacks
always on the lookout for stuff throughout the year new, freebies, charity shops carboots ebay all goes into a big box under my bed when theres a sale somewhere, i dont get all of the above i just keep this list and then it gives me ideas , i shop till i get bored, run out of money or cant open the bedroom door lol0
