My Tax Code Has Changed!

Hiya!
I noticed on my pay slip this month that my tax code has changed from 647L to 747L - does anyone know why this would happen?
My circumstances havent changed and have been in the same job for 2 years!

I'm surprised it didn't change at the beginning of the financial year.
The difference is because for 2009/10 and 2010/11 financial years the basic personal allowance was 6745, for 2011/12 the personal allowance is 7475 and this is why your tax code is 747L rather than 647L.

Maybe it's been on yur other payslips but you havent noticed.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
