re-default browser

Hi, how do I check my default browser, it was IE9, which is what I want? cheers

    In IE, go to Tools>Internet Options and choose the "Programs" tab.

    Where it says "Internet Explorer is the default browser" click the "make default" button if it isn't already pressed.

    That should sort it for you...

    Instructions for IE8, but more or less the same on IE9:

    To check, open Internet explorer and select Help > About Internet Explorer and it will tell you which version.

    To make it the default, select Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab then under Default Web Browser hit the Make Default button and tick Tell me if IE is not the default web browser

    Hi, Thanks all. It was already ie9, which I thought it was.
    Trouble with certain urls, which use ie only.needed to check,checked the box to tell me if ie9 is NOT my default.
