I don't think 5 is too young, my 5 year old loves bath bombs and 'perfumes' because she thinks she is being a scientist and making mixtures and potions in the bath or new smells. The dragon's egg bath bomb from lush is fantastic as it has several stages. She mixes up bubble bath to make her own too.

She hates pink and dolls FWIW and much prefers moshi monsters and lego, so I don't think she is being unduly influenced towards being a WAG.

For what it's worth..my "girly girl" 5 year old who spent the afternoon merrily plastering my face with various colours then me returning the favour. The one who LOVES anything and everything glittery and pink...was absolutely devastated to not get a place in the schools "tag rugby" club last week so I haven't done any permanent "pinking/sparkling up" damage to her yet :rotfl:
Slightly mad mummy to four kidlets aged 4 months,6,7 and 8 :D:D:D xx
  • my 3 year old uses bath bombs, i really dont think its an issue, we make our own bath bombs too sometimes
