Ambleside Accomodation

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can help. I am looking to book some accomodation for 2 people near Loughrigg Fell in either February or March next year. It will be for one night, on a Saturday, and ideally will be in the £50 - £100 price range.

Does anyone have any suggestions or guidance? A lot of places seem quite expensive, have no availability or a 2 night stay.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

You may be lucky in February but at weekends the Lake District is busy all year round. They will usually only do the two nights so they don't lose a nights revenue.

Have you considered the YHA? We used one in Borrowdale, out of necessity and got a twin bunk room for £45. It was acceptable for our purposes on the C2C walk.

There is a place on the Rated-Places website called Highfield which is a B&B in Ambleside which might suit....
