I signed up today for LG panels (again as the Sharp supplier couldnt give dates) and went to the office to make sure paperwork and deposit was all sorted. Install date was booked there and then for 18 November.
They reckon they normally do 20 installs per week, so far this week they've had 70 contracts signed. While I was tehre the phones were constant and other people also turning up to pay their deposits.
I don't envy their fitters but I guess they'll see it as making money while they can as they may be out of a job after Christmas.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

According to the SMA SunnyDesign software the REC panels will outperform the Sharp by around 0.4% ..... reality, well that depends on where the panels you receive sit in the manufacturers performance tolerance band ..... I seriously wouldn't worry about looking for a performance advantage, there probably isn't much of one which could make any difference ...
Sharp are made in the UK and REC are imported ... Sharp 245s are monocrystalline & the REC 245s are polycrystalline .... so there's the deciders for me .... I'd go Sharp even if they were more expensive ....
