Miele S6730 Red Velvet Vacuum Cleaner - Replacement Dust Bags

I recently treat myself to the above vacuum cleaner which came with two replacement FJM dust bags.
The second bag is now almost full and I am looking for some more. I am not sure whether to stay with the original Miele dust bag or go for a really good copy, which works out a lot cheaper, but am worried if I will regret it due to poor performance not only in the dust bags but also with the replacement filters which are supplied with the bags.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi
My advice would be to strongly recommend you keep to the original Miele bags and filters, not only will they perform better than copies but you will affect the guarantee if you use copy bags.
It really isn't worth the perceived saving of cheaper copy bags because the cleaners, bags and filters are all designed to work perfectly together. You obviously bought the Miele vacuum cleaner because you wanted the best so why think about putting inferior parts in it?

Whilst awaiting replies to my post, I have searched the www and read both good and bad reviews regarding copy bags. I also found original Miele bags at a rather decent price (£5.99 for 4 + filters plus £3 delivery) so have decided to stay with Miele bags - which I suppose, in my heart of hearts, is really what I wanted to do, I was just trying to save some money but, as you say, they are all designed to work together and I definitely don't want to affect my 10 year guarantee (which I paid extra for). I have bought a bulk supply as delivery was one set price so have, in fact, saved some money after all! :rotfl:
