Removing IE add-ons

Hi all, I could really do with some help here please.
I'm giving my old laptop to my Dad and am clearing everything off it. Many years ago I downloaded software for Intercasino and Playboy Casino (same things, different branding) to make some free money from sign-up bonuses or similar. Anyway, I've removed all the programs using Add/Remove programs but when I go to IE there still seem to be add-ons for the casinos and I just can't get rid of them. I've disabled them so they don't show in the Tools list, but when I go to Manage Add-Ons the 'Delete' button is disabled. I really don't want to give the laptop to my Dad with these add-ons still present.
I've tried googling but not found anything very helpful - it just seems to say to use Add/Remove programs, but the programs aren't listed since I've already uninstalled them. I wondered if I could uninstall IE, but it seems that's not possible.
I really need to get these removed today, so any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.
The laptop uses Windows Vista and IE 7
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply Steve. I hadn't tried that, but I have now and it hasn't made any difference

Thanks dogmaryxx, but that didn't work either

It found some Playboy Casino history files in the registry and I deleted those, but it didn't find anything for Intercasino and there's no change to the IE add-ons: InterCasino and Playboy Casino entries are still there.
Edited to add:
I've just found something which showed me where to find the registry entries for IE browser extensions. But they're not there either. It's just showing a Spybot extension which I'm happy to keep.
2nd edit: I've just updated to IE8 in case that helped, but they still show up under Add-ons

I've fixed it!! Looking at the Add-on properties in IE it showed some hex strings which I think it called classes. I searched the registry for them and found all the extensions under my local settings (I was only looking under machine settings before). So I deleted them from the registry and they're all gone. Hooray!! Thanks again to those who tried to help earlier.0
