It's amazing how long it takes the FOS to process complaints. Banks really have a free run to rip people off and do waht they want with little comeback.0

Hi All,
Is there any chance someone could private message me a copy of the letter they sent to the FOS? I have already had my standard rejection letter back from santander but would like too see what people have written to the FOS.
Many thanks,0 -

To raise a complaint with the FOS, you'll need to follow step 3 on
http : // www . financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints . htm
, and then send the completed form to them. You should put a bit of background regarding your case, but the substance of the complaint just needs to be what you have already stated in your complaint to Santander.

I can't believe how Satander are not just paying.
What has changed between Nov/Dec last year when many people (including me) received a refund for the EXACT reasons people are now being rejected for.
I received offer in Dec rejected it went to FOS who upheld in March and trebled Satans original offer. My gripe, as everyone else the excessive interest rate hikes, plain and simple.
I am sure that the FOS, who must show uniformity in their decisions, will have to uphold all current complaints.
Thats my hope anyway.
My advice would be to not give up, I'm sure there will be good news for all being shafted by these muppets.0 -
Yep, it's pretty disgusting and Santander are getting away with it. It's worth noting that Santander are excessively raising there mortgage rates as well. They are up another 0.5% today, I'd stay clear of these crooks.
I'm sure the FOS will give them the freedom to print money with this one.
The banking system is a corrupt mess..0 -
Tonight I have completed my letter to FOS including all details of unfair contracts. Non compliance to own banking regulations and details of own complaint.
I will let you know of updates in the weeks months ahead it could be a hard slog judging by how long some of the complaints have taken in dealing with Cahoot & FOS.
Maybe we should all get a rally organised outside Santandar office in Milton keynes to some them we are prepared to fight them all the way.
Has anyone tried taking them on in court, maybe with support of legal aid? Just a thought. :mad:0 -
My complaint went to FOS nearly 3 months ago ( for those looking what to write my complaint is on here way back) I called them yesterday and said another couple weeks and someone will be in touch. Let's not give up.
The whole thing is corrupt.0
