    • going to Lidl for the first time to do food shopping when OH finishes work - not sure what to expect!

I shop in Lidl all the time. I think its good, defo cheaper than the big 3 but range of foods is less. I usually pop to asda or sains afterwards to do a top up of the bits I didn't get

had a lovely day - have just had a bath, full body mot, used free samples of face wash & mask. Am about to make tomato, onion & potato bake to use up bits & bobs & make a cake while the oven is on - ah the weekend nothing like it! :T

    Morning all :)

    Today:

HM meals using ingredients I already have in

Bit of shopping at Mr S, for dog food, washing tablets etc, a few store cupboard items etc using vouchers

Pop in B&Q while out, and try to get a new light bulb for the kitchen. Why are there so many different types of lightbulbs? Why is it so confusing?

Perhaps also go to garden centre to look for a few plants for the pots in the front garden. Depends if the car park is overflowing - shan't bother if it is, which is very likely, as they seem to have turned the place into a sort of Christmas wonderland

Sort out bowl of windfall apples on dining table (I am really determined this time!)

Text friend and thank her for the flowers she sent :)

No heating on, light woodburner this evening if chilly

    Morning all!

I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about schoolwork - you can tell half term is over:(
I have lots of work to do today (hence the waking up) so that's the main thing to do unfortunately.

    So my little list...
    • Loads of schoolwork (5 hours ish probably - boo!) done about 8 hours today - go me!
    • Walked dog in the park already done
    • Hoover and dust whole house done
    • Have cheese and potato pie for tea made with leftover mash from yesterday done and yummy it was too!
    • Get work clothes ready for the week done
    • Put dry washing away done
    • Maybe do a load of whites if there's enough to justify it done, in now
    • Keep the heating off today - was on yesterday but its supposed to be warmer today just put it on for an hour
    • Dye hair done, worst job in the world, hate doing it!
    • Walk dog again done twice
    • Do any surveys that come - am waiting for stuff to clear and then I can order a £10 voucher done
    • Checked the bank - think I'll make it to payday without going OD:j done
Right that seems like enough to do - better get on with it!
  • I'm going to scour the shed and a few other dark forbidding places to find a few things for Ebay :)
