MSE forum page has gone large again.

I have a new laptop and each time I scroll down the forum page on MSE, it seems to make the page go large, I have been into control panel, display etc and everything seems ok, the homepage of MSE is fine too, just the forum page. I have tried closing internet and restarting but its still the same, any ideas how I can stop this happening and return to normal size page and font.

try holding Ctrl and using your scroll wheel up/down, or Ctrl and +/- buttons.

wow, thank you for that, it has worked, do you know how to stop the page going large, it never happened with my old laptop, I wonder if this laptop touchpad is more sensitive or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

does it happen each time you join the forum?

I just use a mouse with lappy as can't be bothered with touchpad, oh, and I never sign out of MSE, maybe that would help, retaining cookies?

Maybe the touchpad has a 'gesture' feature, some newer laptops not only scroll up/down/left/right but have other features such as zoom/pinch etc.

Can be annoying if you don't know all the hidden features on the touchpad....I disabled most of mine!

Take a look on the taskbar for a touchpad icon (might be 'synaptics') or goto control panel and there might be some control options there.

I'm on a regular desktop and sometimes the page goes large when moving to next page for no apparent reason.
