Firstly Jamie I am wondering if for example a person has been to alcoholics anonymous, and also has been to see the doc lots of times because he is physco or suicidal (not that I am).
Are you saying the third party cannot bring these up as they are not relivant to the claim?
My point is that if the Defendants say "alistair you have been to alcoholics anonymous, surly you had a drinking problem, and thats why you crashed",
and that will be recoreded in court and accessable by other parties, or if there is someone from the media they can note it and make a article about it.

Quintin, I am at the moment not represented, I was not sure who is the best. I have only now found out that the chambers will have info on a barrister so you know how many claims he has won, and also what his specialty is.
Hopefully within 1 week, I am at the moment going to run it past a friend to see what he sugests.

Hi Alistair,

What is the latest situation with regards to disclosing of your medical records- have you appealed. My understanding is that you do not legally have to disclose if you have good reason not to and your medical records should go to an Independent medical expert to produce a report for the court. Also that you have a right to view and redact any information first before disclosure which may not be relevant to the issues
