Ideas for wedding present?

What about a silver cake serving knife, or salad servers or something like that. Something victorian can be relatively cheap and ausssie loves things with a bit of history (I am an Australian living in London). I got my parents two beautiful silver spoons, which they use as salad servers (to my mild horror... if they knew what they cost!!) but everytime they pull them out they think of me. Which is exactly as it should be I think.

How about a nice cheese knife? Personally I say forget anything with glass, the risk of breakage is significant. Plus a photoframe can come from anywhere, whereas Engalnd does antiques and silver which simply aren't available at a decent price in Australia.

Kmmr, I would like to get them something with some history, or something that will become a bit of 'history' so can be passed down if they have children, so will have a look, I'm a keen auction goer so may find something suitable there!

I had a bit of a brainwave and have seen something which I like, but only if I win the lottery tonight! So all ideas gratefully received, thankyou.
