Wow, I'm tempted to open a new bank account now... Have managed to drag myself into the positive side (on my current account, at least) after a year of struggling with overdraft, so it makes sense now.
Having a good day so far... Got another £9.99 on old books. Also got given 2 free cheesecakes randomly at work, but not sure if that counts towards anything.November £10 per day challenge: £265.93/£300

Been looking at how I can save the pennies where DS2 is concerned today- he's 5 months...
Have dug out all the frozen veg thats been hiding in the bottom of the chest freezer for about a year and cooked it all, blended and frozen it into little meals for baby. I have created approximately 118 meals, and worked out, based on a cost of 60p per jar of the baby food I would normally have bought, I have saved approx £70
The down side of this is that I seemed to have burnt out my hand blender....:p
I am going to add this to my total as chances are I wouldve left the veg in the freezer anyway to the point it wouldve had to have been thrown away due to freezer burn and it was free to begin with as we grew it ourselves on the allotment, I will 'subtract' £10 though for a new blender....
I have also gone back to value nappies. It was only my snobbery (and the fact I always have a coupon in my purse...) that meant I buy the expensive brands, which arent even that great imho.
This is a saving of £3 per packet, but I shant add this to my total as its cheating a bit!
(I understand a lot of people may not consider the above as 'making' money, more saving it, but if it wasnt for this thread I wouldnt have done it, and the food required 'effort', which justifies it for me!:p)
*Realised I have been typing away for ages..apologies! but thanks for reading anyway! :kisses3:*0 -

have you tried asda own brand nappies? or lidl's -they are lovely and soft and so cheap!
and well done on growing your own veg and making it into DS' food. At least you know what has gone into it.0 -
Had a bit of extra work today and estimate I've earned about £20, but won't add it until I get it
Ooh and I got £30 as gifts yesterday. I was going to start the challenge today but will start as from yesterday instead to give me a boost (I'm allowed because it was my birthday lol)
Got a day left on my Ebay stuff- no bidders yet but still plenty of time.
I also printed off loads of MOC to use in Mr T's for next time I go!Optima semper libera sunt
