well done ! what an inspiration! wish I could say the same.
  • Declaring my total as £468.94 so totally smashed it compared to other months! It has been mainly ebaying too with my little buying and selling business I've got going. Some things only make me £1 profit but a pounds a pound and before this thread I wouldn't have thought it would be worth it so go me! :p Only trouble is I've got so much money going in and out of account its hard to keep a track of, for example I have to spend £4 on product to get £1 profit, another one I spend £12 to get £2.50 profit! It is all adding up though to be fair...

...and so I become a bit chatty when this thread is dead and buried...anyone? :D

Why don't you keep a spreadsheet Natterjack, with columns for how much each item cost, how much you sold it for, postage and overall profit.

Then you could have a column that is adding up your total automatically for you, and then you can see how much you are earning.

Well done, I wish I was so disciplined about ebay.

    Hi

I've decide that I'm going to run from 1/12 to 30/11 for my challenge so I'm going to take my Christmas pot now and start again for next year (though I will take a bit out for birthdays - assuming I make anything!).

So I'm going to chuck everything in for Nov - 22p roadkill, £3.31 in Bo*ts points, £10 in Game points and I managed to get enough M*ximile points for Harry Potter so I'm calling that £10 and will pay it into my Xmas fund.

So November total is £125.59 and this year's Christmas fund total is £289. I will top this up with a credit union loan which will be smaller than last year's and hopefully next year's will be even smaller.

Many thanks and well done to everybody on this thread. I am very pleased with my pretty modest total, compared to most of you but it wouldn't have happened at all without your help and motivation.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
