Really down in dumps now, get paid Friday and all money spent already, got to live off next to nothing next month !!

    (((((((((hopless)))))))))))))

for the cot, you don't need to buy new, just the mattress. check out netmums.com, freecycle, freegle for people giving/selling their old cots.

You will need to buy a new mattress as second hand not recommended. Alternatively, see if you can get a moses basket so you can use that for about a month, gives you time to get a cot or win one! :D

Get yourself over to Old Style threads, for advice and help on how to survive until next month. use up store cupboard foods, etc.
  • I have sold some text books Aesop... but this was Caitlin Moran's latest one. I leant it to my mum & she hadn't read it... so I listed it & it sold next day. One text book cost be nearly £10 to post... so only try to sell light ones!! ha ha
I keep getting amazon vouchers so keep buying more books... oh no!
I have £4 tesco vouchers... npot sure what to use them on?? Got figleaves stuff last time

  • Well done on all the progress you are all making. I love reading this thread as it effectively gives me a kick up the bum and shows me that it is possible to achieve these targets!

I have actually managed a minus target today :(

Saved 3.00 bringing in my own lunch for work. Just had to refund 13.50 for an ebay sale. I sold a child's coverall rainsuit thing, but it appears that it may have shrunk in the wash when I laundered it so was unusable. Rather than get into a debate about it I refunded the buyer (who was perfectly pleasant and civil with lots of ratings so I did feel was genuine).

So.......total for the day is -10.50

I can't bring myself to take it off my total, so will knock it off my next batch of ebay sales that are due to finish at the weekend. Was planning to get a few things listed tonight, but ended up on the phone to my friend and then my mum and now my ebay mojo has evaporated.......!!

However, tomorrow is another day and I am off work with my 3 year old. Should be able to get a few things listed in between playing with him, cleaning and getting meals organised. Repeat mantra - will do better tomorrow, will do better tomorrow ......:A

  • Hey guys just popping my head in the door in case you think i have gone AWOL again and start to worry whats up with me again - i'm doing ok, OH and I are just having to go to solicitors and the police at the minute with regard to the fish forum nonsense thats been going on for us - we have been threatened with all sorts and so we are taking all the appropriate steps - its so sad really, all we want to do is have a go at setting up a fully legitimate business as an attempt to get back on our feet!!!!

Anyway hope the moneymaking is going well for everyone, hopefully i will get a chance to have a read through tomorrow to see what you have all been up to - i'm missing my daily dose of MSE :rotfl::rotfl:

BTW i did manage to claim my next £5 voucher from swaggers yesterday and the last claim was on the 11th Nov so i made my target of cashing out within the 4 days ;)
