How long does it take when you tell tax credits about a change in circs?

My OH and I have got back together and he moved back in yesterday. I rang TC today to change my claim from a single to a joint claim but forgot to ask how long it usually takes.

I do rely on that money so just wondering if anyone knows how long it roughly takes to sort out from when you send the form back?

You have to make a brand new claim and so will be waiting on a new claim pack to come out to you and that typically takes a couple of weeks and then about 3 weeks for it to be processed from the day you post it back.
