Which Paypal account should I have?

I sell only my own personal/household stuff on Ebay and have a Paypal business account. I set that up when I was a bit of a newbie and I'm not sure I've got it right. It's costing me an awful lot in Paypal fees when I sell something- e.g. something sells for £1.99 on Ebay and it costs 27p in Paypal fees.
I think a basic Paypal account means I can't take credit card payments? Not sure how this would affect me with ebay sales. There are also limits on value of transactions over time, I think?
I'm on the point of thinking about an online business - not Ebay! So I may need the Paypal business account in the end- as well, but may keep a basic Paypal account for personal Ebay sales. Is that possible?
Thanks in advance.

I am no expert on non business accounts but it sounds like a micro account is your best bet.

all accounts suitable for selling on ebay will charge a fee, however if your payments are routinely under around £9-£10 then theonlywayisup is correct and a micro account is bestI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. What's the difference between micro and premier, I've never even heard of a micro account, but then I haven't set up an account in the last ten years!!!0
