Free Dyson Spares.................

My old Dyson died 2 days ago. I rushed out last night with 10mins before closing time to Currys. Bought a new Vax.
I remember when I needed to buy a spare part once for the Dyson, it cost about £12!
So before I chuck it out................does anyone need a spare part off of it?
Its a Dyson DC01 (said it was old).
PM me if any bits could be of use. I live in a flat, so won't have it hanging around more than a day or two.

Since postage costs might be "high" for some or all of it, might be better to collect?

I took advantage of Dyson's offer to do a full refurb for about £50. They may still do it.

An engineer turns up and replaces everything that needs replacing all in. I got new nose, telescopic hose attachment, power cable, filter and bumpers.

Worth a try. Although I seem to recall that the motor is not included in the package if it needs replacing.

My flexi pipe had split on my dyson which was out of guarantee, however my sisters dyson still had her guarantee so she ordered one for me as most parts fit all models, so may be worth asking family and friends, by the way her pipe split a month later and they still sent her another one
