How long to receive TC paperwork?

Today I finally received my tax credits statement in the post - award is dated 12 July! Luckily all the information is correct as my situation is stable, so I haven't run up any overpayments, but is this really how long it takes to send out notices?
I feel the delay is due to me needing the paperwork in large print format as I'm partially sighted. This usually delays paperwork from anyone by a few weeks, which I think is bad enough but over 3 months is just unacceptable.
Before I take it up with TC, I'd just like to check that this delay isn't "normal"....
Then I need to find the several hours it will take to get through on the 'phone

Ive never waited 3 months!
2 or 3 weeks max I reckon, usually within a week.0 -
Still no paperwork from TC although they amended my payments on 1/11. I'm going to complain in another 2-3 weeks as I just don't think it is good enough & don't feel it is fair that I need to wait so much longer than everyone else just because of my disability.
How quickly are the "normal" print award notices coming through? Thanks.And I find that looking back at you gives a better view, a better view...0
