Selling Playstation Games

I'm having a clear out and want to sell some Playstation Games. I've found Swallow Games in Norwich on line (SwallowGames.com) who have offered me a good price. Just want to know if anyone has any experience of dealing with them? I've searched the web for reviews but can't find anything.

  • No experience of them but why not have a look on eBay at what prices you can get for your games, you might be surprised depending on what you have to get rid of! :)
    Useful is beautiful
  • What prices did you get quoted mate?

Id be interested to know because i find on Ebay the prices for games are pretty low. I recently sold a well known PS3 game (FIFA) on Ebay for 99p, a small fraction of the price i paid for it.

Swallow use ebay as a guide to set their buy-in and sell-on prices (as do Cash Converters). Best bet is Play.com or Amazon. Might take a while to sell, but you get a much better price for them. Bear in mind that Play charge 10%+50p commission and no postage, so you have to add that into the selling amount.

I have not sold games to Swallow but I have bought quite a few from them, they are reliable and honest.
I too have a lot of games to sell, steer clear of Game, they rip you off, I do know that Blockbusters are no longer accepting PS2 games as there is no call for them now, which is a shame as some of the PS2 games I have got are really good and frequently replay them on my PS3 (backward compatible model).

Swallow Games have quoted really good prices for PS1 games (£41 for 13 games), I looked on Ebay for the same titles and Swallow were better on the ones I could find, so I'm posting them tonight. The PS2 games weren't so good, some were a bit more than Music Magpie offered but nothing over £1

Just to let you all know, I got a cheque from Swallow Games and they paid for everything I sent to them so I can definitely recommend them for buying your PS1 and PS2 games :T

I tried them they only offered me 25p for PS1 games and £1 for PS2 and there are some good games too. I will only sell the top priced ones.
