Being cynical, if the fault is minor, why not send them the part? Creates goodwill with your brand, and a letter can accompany it stating this is in 'good faith'.

Thank you for all your advice, it's certainly given us something to talk about in the office! The fault is fairly minor but expensive for us to put right. We pride ourselves on our customer service and do go that extra mile for our customers, however some do push us to our limits occasionally!0 -
SOGA doesn't take into account second owners unless the warranty is transferable, you say your website clearly states that it's not, so you don't need to do anything, you have no contract with her.0

You could make her an offer - a discount on a repair or the option to purchase the spare parts to take to the repairer of her choice.0
