I posted last week about how they are demanding money but not providing an explanation of why it is owed (it is my belief that I was in credit when I left them). I emailed them requesting site of my bills but they have not replied. So I posted here: Graeme kindly invited me to forward my email to him, but the message bounced (twice).
And if I try to telephone them I just have to wait indefinitely.

I haven't read your other thread but you are quite right not to pay a bill until you know what it is for. I suggest you make one more request, in writing and send it recorded delivery.
In the meantime have a look here post #3, follow the links and see if you are entitled to a payment if SP have failed to adhere to the standards of performance they are required to meet. Note this only applies to electricity supply. The first link (Watchdog) gives the companies and geographical areas that are subject to the regs.0 -
As suggested yesterday in your other thread try emailing Graeme on
onlinecomplaints@scottishpower.com
I have found him to reply within a couple of days.
You may be able to access your final bills at
https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/myfinalaccount
You need to use the account number from your final paper bill to access the above.
The bills are difficult to follow if you have previously been dual fuel as they issue a separate final gas and electric bill and hence the carried forward amounts from your previous dual bill is split across the gas and elec0 -

Thanks Elektra.
I did try twice to email Graeme, but the messages bounced. I see from your message that there must have been a typo (you give the address with an 's' on the end, while he did not) so I shall try again.0 -

If you look at your other thread you will see that he gave you a wrong address. Resend it to the correct address. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I left Scottish Power in April 2011. Their billing department was slack at that time; the bills were not accurate (to my detriment). Well, nothing has changed, has it? As for Graeme (the Scottish Power representative); he is only there for damage limitation purposes; he'll answer when it suits him; never mind the punters. And, from what I can see from the posts on this forum (despite the many complaints), SP have paid no attention to their customers gripes. No surprise there, then.
I personally, will never return to Scottish Power. They are on a par with British Telecom, Halifax Building Society and the Clydesdale Bank.0
