what to put in dispute email for parking fine?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me as I'm in a slight panic, as well as having a bit of a red haze of anger at the moment!!
I've just received a parking fine from 'parking eye' for parking in a shops service yard. The yard in question also contains the access to the large items collection point for an Argos store, at which I was told, by the Argos staff, to drive round to in order to collect bulky items of furniture. I am livid I have been given a fine for parking where I was legitimately told to.
I am going to email them to dispute this fine - but do you have any words of wisdom to help this?
Or should I be giving in a paying just to save any hassle? I really don't want to - but equally I don't want them to be able to trash my credit file or do anything like that?!
Any help gratefully received!!

Have you read the other threads on this board? You have not been fined, and your best option is to do nothing at all. You'll get a few more letters, then they'll move on to someone else. Have a read around, and you'll get the gist.0

yes, don't waste your time by contacting them. They can't fine you, it is just a speculative invoice. Their "appeals" procedure is a joke.
Read the stickies in this section if you are unsure about what I am telling you."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

To correct you, this is not a FINE. it's an unenforceable invoice. You don't have to email them. Just ignore them and don't respond to any communication from them. Parking Eye are well known on here - just take a look at the other threads about them. You don't owe them a penny. Don't forget they are not the police or the council, but just a tin-pot private company with no more right than you nor I to demand money off people. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Thanks guys - just having a read of the other threads now.
So if I don't respond in anyway, all I'll get is some more 'reminders', possibly a few threatening letters from a mickey mouse solicitor... and then they'll definitely go away? No problems with credit rating, no baliffs on the door, no ccjs etc?
If that's definitely all that will happen, then more than happy to ingore! Thanks, feeling much more relaxed now!
And given that, I suppose there is no point in emailing them to dispute it at all? In the way that responding in anyway, even to say I'm not paying, might just encourage them to harrass me more and for longer?

Correct. Give them any type of response and they'll know they have hooked a "live fish". Provided you can deal with the use of capitals and sometimes even red ink in their letters then you'll be fine. And given that, I suppose there is no point in emailing them to dispute it at all? xMy very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

1. Yes, more letters making unwarranted threats. In the vast majority of cases they will go away, but it is not a 100% guarantee.
2. No problems with credit rating. That will only happen in the rare case they take you to court and win and you don't pay up and get a CCJ against you.
3. Bailiffs will only turn up if you have lost at court, not paid, a CCJ has been obtained and the court tells them to go in. They will not turn up if the case has not gone to court."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"
