Last Thursday I Balance Transferred an amount to Egg, putting my account in credit on Monday. On Wednesday I Balance transferred the positive balance to my current account. Funds aren't showing in my bank yet, but the transfer is showing on my Egg transactions.
I reckon that you could just about squeeze one in before the 7th if you transfer out as soon as it appears in egg (I left it a day or so).
P.S. It is up to you if you want to risk it. I'm only telling of my experience.
