Hi All
I have just had a chat with Mr Friendly helpful Halifax guy ( H.Ireland- don't know how different/separate Halifax Ireland are to Halifax anything else but I do know they answer the phone immediately and it is always the same person ) who explained that (and I've not heard this one before) "no payments had been made for three weeks as the FOS had asked them to investigate the way the interest was calculated and whilst this was happening they had had to stop all payments." He told me to expect payment in about three weeks....
Anyone else heard this one or does it sound like another tall tale?!

Halifax Ireland are the insurer. Halifax (based in Normanton) are paying redress and have huge backlogs.0
