While it's near xmas you might want to try this

    http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/gp/product/B005K8O93G/sr=1-3/qid=1319849564/ref=sr_1_3/279-3103584-0274840?ie=UTF8&n=48846031&bcBrand=core

So you can have a go, 2 blushers and a bronzing powder.

Bella Bamba is very pink though, it might be worth going to try some out.

I was going to suggest Benefit! But also Stila's Convertible Colour and apparently you can get through Boots now. Debenhams also used to sell them, not sure if they still do.

I just wondered why you wear a warm shade foundation but have a cooler toned skin? This would make it difficult to get things looking natural so making your eyes 'pop' is going to be a bit of a battle, your looking at wearing a cool tone on your skin and then a warmer shade on your cheeks- that'll stand out and make a difference, but warm and warm? If you put enough on to cover any type of coolness the best your gonna get is a natural look (though don't forget your neck and chest and ears!) which could still look OK -depending on the way its applied, but is going to be a battle to make things look 'wow' just more natural.

Misty - except for the posytint I have all the products you mentioned:o

7891368 - bargain;) I do love Hoola when I fancy a bronzer, I'm ordering some shampoo etc from another site later today so if they don't sell Benefit I might well get this.

jennie - I'm not normally a Benefit fan but this seems to be what I'm looking for, I do like Stila products and will check out Boots.

Regarding my skin tone and make up, although I have Celtic colouring I have a lot of uneven skin tone, I also don't have that beautiful fine pale skin but more of an olive texture but without the olive colouring:( an all over foundation colour that is pink toned just plays up the imperfections and uneven tone even more, foundation that matchs my skin exactly just makes my skin look worse particularly towards the end of the day and as I have got older, outside the T zone my face is not pink toned but more neutral so I chose a foundation that matches that area or has slightly more yellow tones to bring the whole face to one colour, its a trick I learned when working for Shiesdo years ago, you do have to be confident in application to do this, I have been using cool toned blushers until recently, they do look nice but I fancy something different. I would also point out that I wear fake tan on my body so a pale pink face and a tanned body would look odd imo, where as a lightly tanned body and a yellow toned pale face (or less pale if I'm using bronzer) look nice and blends. If I had to wear pink toned make up I would be better off going without altogether, cool coloured foundation makes my eyes look red and less blue, I don't have that when I have no make up on or when I wear my usual make up:).

Sounds like you just have a warm but pale complexion, we do exist Just look at the Japanese market- loads have a warm and pale complexion rather then the cool English rose shade.

If your unsure of what to wear, visit a professional, get a colour match and then when your sure of what your looking for (IMO meant I had to buy the bobbi brown foundation I was matched with!) then begin to pluck off cheaper shades, but it is hard as instore lighting normally has a yellow tone to it which makes things much harder, you go outside and it all looks...odd!
This is why the counter assistants are generally good people to ask, the better ones have done that sort of thing for years and if your able to get to a Mac counter, many also work or have worked as solo makeup artists for things like shows through to wedding days. Most will suggest products, if you really don't want to purchase you only have to say no, that you need to think about it and to take down the shade they suggest, but IMO if you can use the correct shade and get used to it, trying to find a cheaper replacement works out a lot easier (and cheaper if your always buying things that you don't feel work and then rebuying!). There could be other ways around that but this is how I dealt with things and it has paid off for me.

All good advice:) I do chop and change products but not my foundation, I have developed a knack of looking and knowing what shade will look right after years of experience;) your right about the asian market having products that suit best, colour wise anyway, MAC is no good for me it breaks me out, EL have good colours for me but again breakouts:( I stick with Revlon Colourstay, the oily skin type that is more yellow based, I would like to look at BB products again but will have to wait until I get to London as there is no BB within 50 miles of where I live:(, Kanebo is another fav of mine but again I would need to go to London.

Cant wait to try my new Benefit make up:D I'm like a silly excited kid:rotfl:

The Benefit make up arrived today and its lovely, its very similar to a pallet I had from the 99p shop by Fate which I loved but it kept breaking and was a touch to sparkly. I put the Coralista and Hoola on this morning and they look really nice, and yes, it made my eye colour pop:D I then put a little bit of the Bella Bamba on and my skin just seemed to wake up instantly, its very pigmented though for a brightener can anyone who uses this product give me application tips? I love the shimmer rather than sparkle and the smell is gorgeous, like old fashioned lipstick, thanks everyone for the advice:T a job well done:D

Use a Kabuki brush in circular motions thats how I put it on anyway, and if I pop a bit too much on, just quick dust of powder to take some of the 'harshness' out.

I'm too pale for Bella Bamba though, it makes me look like a doll

I bought myself a bronzer a few weeks ago for the grand price of....£2! Comes in a lovely mirrored box from the Old Factory Shop! Does the job & I don't scare the kids in the morning at school!

Those little bourjois tubs are good. They come in variety of different shades, im sure you'll be able to find one that matches your skin tone. bourjois-blusher.jpg?w=240&h=270

I have a few of these most of them are cool toned though, lovely products and not far from the Benefit make up I just bought, they do a lovely pale beige/gold eyeshadow too which can be used as a highlighter, reverse lip liner etc, I do love Bourjois products:)
