Blusher suggestions

I would like a new blusher, yes, I have loads and loads but I'm not happy with any of them, I read the other day that the right blusher makes your eye colour pop, none of mine do that so does anyone have any suggestions?
I an naturally pink/cool toned but wear yellow/neutral toned foundation, I have very blue clear eyes and dark brown hair, although I wear fake tan I don't use it on my face so I am pale, think typical celtic colouring, the product has to be a powder formulation with no glitter, I don't mind a touch of shimmer but would prefer matte and of course I would like to try to keep it as mse as possible - thanks for any help:)

I personally love Benefit blusher, but I'm keen to try Vivo Cosmetics (which is only available in Tesco).
It's been compared to Mac and is only £4, think its only been available since September. Just need to find a tesco that stocks it!War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0 -
Thanks 7891368, which Benefit blusher do you use? I have a huge Tesco near me so I'll check out Vivo:)
I'm hoping someone with similar colouring to me will have a good colour they can recommend:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I use Coralista, it's a lovely peachy rose tone.
I'm pale with blue/grey eyes like yourself but with silvery blone hairWar does not determine who is right - only who is left.0 -
I use Benefit Dandelion. Its amazing!0

To be honest I don't have a bad word to say about the Elf Studio blushes - they're quite sheer but easy to build up - I'm a blushophobic so that suits me fine.0

Those two benefit products look really good http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/gp/node/n/48843031/275-6138753-9093665?ie=UTF8&node=48843031&sort=salesrank&bin-fields=none&bcBrand=core&size=9&page=2 I especially like the coralista
Any colour suggestions moromir?Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
Candid Coral is the one I wear daily, but I also have tickled pink and peachy keen.
(I'm super white and have a pink complexion, the peachy keen one was a bit of an experiment, it does make me look 'healthy' though in a sunny way!)
They didn't do blushing rose when I got mine, that looks quite nice too.
There is a little bit of shimmer to these, certainly a lot less than the benefit ones! But I think I just look nicely glowy with candid coral.0 -
I have similar colouration to you, and I love Benefit's Posietint stain, worn just on the apples of my cheeks (with Benefit's Highbeam above it on the cheekbones for a bit more of a "done" look). The Posietint always makes people comment on how young/well/glowing I look.
Edit - sorry, just read you need it to be powder. In which case, Benefit's Dandelion, as mentioned above, has a similar, though slightly more subtle effect. You can sweep a little of it over your whole face to perk up your skin tone, and use it more concentrated on your cheeks.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58

Thanks Misty Blue, I used to use benetint a few years ago but because I have less than perfect skin and large pores the formulation seemed to sink in and look odd and patchy:( posietint looks pretty but is it the same as benetint? other than colour, I have highbeam, it does look nice at first but seems to slide:rotfl: thats why I usually prefer powder products.
Thanks moromir, I like the shades you suggested, so much so that I realise I have very similar already:D I think thats the problem I need a change.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
You could be talking about my skin!
I can only use Benetint as a lip stain, as it looks streaky on my face no matter how well I blend. The Posietint I find much better though. The girls at Benefit counters are usually only to keen to let you try the products first to see how you get on with them.
In terms of powder blushers, I also like Lily Lolo's mineral range. You can buy good size testers for about 99p each, so you can try loads of shades. I think my favourites are called Doll Face and Cupcake. It tells you the best shades of your skin tone on the website (or it used to!) With them being mineral formulation, they skim over imperfections and large pores too.Egg Loan - [strike]£4921.84[/strike] £0!! :j Barclaycard - £3866.47 Legal + Trade - [strike]£2700.96[/strike] £0!! :j Triton - [strike]£1730.89[/strike] £0!! :j Next - [STRIKE]£776.15[/STRIKE] £126.88 Littlewoods - [strike]£217.16[/strike] £0!! :j Housemate - [strike]£1300[/strike] £0!! :j Capital One - [STRIKE]£1652.51[/STRIKE] £1,081.58 Vanquis - [strike]£2337.75[/strike] £375.58
