Advice on postage please

Hope someone can give me some advice, I have sold the kids computer console and accessories on ebay and assumed ( silly me) that it would be simple to parcel and post.
The problem is that one of the items is awkwardly shaped ( wii guitar) so I'm not sure how to post this. Does anyone have any experience of selling this type of thing. Altogether it comes to just under 10kg, the guitar is the longest item at 75cms and the rest is easy to pack in a single box without the guitar
Has anyone sent through an item bubble wrapped and taped to a box? the guitar is very light in comparison to the rest but it's too big to send on it's own cheaply.
Does anyone have an idea about how best to post, and also since it's going in the Uk, who's the best courier with items like this.
btw I know there is cheap courier threads on here but I meant who's good with bubble wrapped items?, thanks in advance

Bubble wrap may not be enough. With difficult shapes you can bubble, then flat open a cardboard box and wrap that around, then more bubble and a waterproof bag. This will give it some strength.
I use p4d for my courier bookings.0 -
Bubble wrap won't stand heavy weights being thrown on top of the package or being loaded at an angle, you need to get that into a box as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Agree. If you use a carrier you can pack very well as you don't have to worry too much about the weight - usually the price is a flat rate up to 10 or 25kg.Bubble wrap won't stand heavy weights being thrown on top of the package or being loaded at an angle, you need to get that into a box as well.0
