Are rightmove sold prices always correct?

I've just been browsing my neighbourhood sold prices and I came across the flat that was on a market for an asking price £649950 and apparently the same property sold in April this year for £249950 - a massive 400k less! I seriously doubt that the price drop was that much, so it's either wrong information or stamp duty dodge.
Has anyone else come across something similar?

That sounds like one of the studio flats (which would be about right price) and it's just an admin error where they've put the wrong price next to the 2 bed flat.0
