Inventories

I have been told that insurance companies like people to have inventories. I was looking around for solftware but they all seem a bit complicated and what if the computer is destroyed or nicked? I did find a web site called logged and safe and it does an online inventory system. Has anyone else used this. Its seems very cheap £30, one off payment through paypal. The web site is here
https://www.loggedandsafe.com

Are these inventories any use or is pen and paper just as good. Your thoughts please...

Pen and paper or a large excel spreadsheet backed up onto CD kept out the home would be by preferences

Micosoft Money has a built in Inventory for insurance purposes. You could then copy to a cd and keep elsewhere. I think Quicken has also.
