Been on phone to SSE, clarifying things.
To qualify for 43 p we need to get the three documents to them, last day is 11th December.
Of course, the solar installation must be up and running and paid for, to get the MCS certificate and Invoice.
They will accept all documents by email, which is far safer than snailmail.
Also need to warn them in advance, asking them to be the FiT supplier.
He was most helpful and clear. BUT getting through took 20mins or so.0 -
EON received my FIT forms yesterday but say they are receiving 400 completed FIT forms per day! So if there is a delay putting it on their system, will the existing FIT tariff be honoured if the delay is down to them?0

I think it is honoured, so long as they acknowledge it's receipt.
My understanding, based on research this week, as I am in the same boat as you is that the eligibilty date is the date on which you will secure your payments.
That eligibility date is defined above but in essence the date the provider (EON) recieve a correct application form for Fit or installation, whichever is the latest.0 -
They will be honouring it. I have confirmed with them today they have my paperwork and although it may not be entered on the system for 4 - 6 weeks it will be backdated to the day they received it and they have said I will get the existing tariff.0

Did you not ask that question when you were in communication with them?0 -
HELL.... my installation could be badly held up. Shortage of Sunnyboys and roof-rails. My company is being honest, they are phoning hard to find stuff, so I'll keep optimistic at the mo. They hope to start installing about Nov. 21.
Hopefully there are companies who ordered too much hardware (in their enthusiasm), who will be glad to sell it on...
Anybody else being held up ??0 -
Good luck Brian99. hope you get the fit and certificates in time.0
