Geez a grand and a half EACH. Pray tell me how this qualifies as a "good deal" and worthy of posting here? Is it normally 12k?
Well if it is normally around £8K and OP has got it for £6K then it qualifies as a bargain IMO.
For what it is and who are going it is a bargain.
Hotel with upgraded room averages around £280 per night . Flights are around £750 to £950 pp depending on dates in July which all in comes to over £6K, so under £6K is a bargain I suppose.

Have to admit it is a bargain for that hotel. It is a wonderful hotel, in Montego Bay, and it includes all water sports and quite a few other things (or at least it did when we stayed there about 7 years ago!!) and it has its own water park, assuming it is the same. There is also a nice golf course next door, just watch the beach as it can be a bit rocky, might be best advised to get some beech shoes.
We had a wonderful time there. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I wouldn't personally call that a bargain.....but its all relatively isn't it. If the OP normally spends more than that for that kind of holiday then I suppose its a bargain to them. If you price up a holiday to say Orlando.....and do it the way I see most people do it, £6000 for a family of 4 in comparison isn't all that bad. By the time you factor in flights, park tickets, and food and other adhocs it could easily come out the same. At least the Jamaica one is 'all in'. I know where I'd rather be!!0

We obviously had very different experiences. Got married here six years ago and we paid £3k for two adults in a superior room, INCLUDING the wedding itself!0 -
Weddings in most Jamaican hotels are free though to be fair , so you paid the same as the OP, £1,500pp.
Also that was 6yrs ago, so prices rise. If OP is happy they got a bargain, then whats everyones problem!£100 - £10,0000 -

Exactly. Weddings in the Carribean dont add on much more at all. So if that was 6 years ago the price the OP has got sounds ok.0
