No its not its because they are lazy and dont want to put the handbrake on and take their foot off the brake. When you drive an auto its just the same, you can apply the handbrake and take your foot off. Then put it back on the brake when you want to go.
Infact Im sure when I did my driving theory test there was a question all about making sure you took your foot off the brake and using the handbrake so that you did not blind the person behind you.
I thought it was me going mad before i read this post but headlight are definitely getting brighter and i hate driving in the dark now.0 -
Well I'm glad it's not just me who feels that way. Don't these people realise the danger they are causing to other motorists? There seems to be a growing number of people who turn their headlights on when not necessary (fog lights in broad daylight is not uncommon) or who have the set incorrectly.
Retribution springs to mind, but why be just as stupid as they are?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Perhaps we should adopt the Egyptian way of driving at night. If you see a car coming with their lights on, you both turn your lights off so neither of you are dazzled.
I couldn't believe it when it first happened, then I was introduced to the dahab shortcut !!!!0 -

Because you coudn't see in daylight??
I've never had a car that I knew had that, but for many years they have had a dip position, try using that in daylight and it blacks out, similar to wearing shades at night,I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
