Amazon Price Mistake

That's right - you should've allowed others to jump on the bandwagon rather than reaping the rewards of your time spent searching for bargains.
Please remember that although this forum is titled "Grab it while you can" you are actually supposed to leave them for other people and not grab them for yourself at all.
So everytime someone spots a bargain they should buy all the stock themselves and when it goes wrong they should come here bleating about it?
Why don't we close the grabbit section now? :rolleyes:0 -

And we can rename it the 'Quick! Braggit while you can!' forum! :T0 -
I've only just registered here today and never used or been fully aware of this chat room.
The mistaken price I saw on Sun night and it disappeared on Mon morning.
Now I realise that this chat room is VERY active and people are reading and responding by the minute - and if I ever come across bargains now I am part of this community I'll let ya know - but please I wasn't part of this community and wasn't trying to rip ya off.
Thanks for the advice people - and as you can see it seems I will not be able to benefit anyway

Fair enough; welcome to the forums!0 -
Evenin' all!
Aside from the rights and wrongs of the OP's motives...
The email that the buyer received (as has been discussed on here previously) states:
'Please note that for items ordered from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon Jersey this e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the items have been dispatched to you.
> For items purchased from third parties in Marketplace, zShops or Auctions, this e-mail confirms the completion of your contract to purchase those items<----'
As the email states that the items were purchased from seller - 'purchasing260'.... does this mean then that it also is an agreement for the seller (who is not Amazon themselves) to supply the items ordered?
Thanks,

Hi, I am in the same situation today, and have just noticed Caroline's point.
I have from Amazon "For items purchased from third parties in Marketplace, this e-mail confirms the completion of your contract to purchase those items"
Should they not have to honor the contract?
Please help!0
