Is it worth trying to get a replacement mouse from pc world?

Hi all
In August my hubby bought himself an Advent base unit from pc world (I know, I know but it was the one he wanted
)
It came with a wireless mouse and keyboard, they are just unbranded black ones. The keyboard is actually quite good and seems to fit hubby's fat fingers great. The mouse batteries failed after 2 days so we replaced them with Duracell, these lasted for 4 days. We have tried various different batteries including rechargables but nothing lasts more than 5 days.
Hubby has gone back to his old microsoft mouse but I was wondering today if it was worth ringing and complaining. I know it is just a cheapy mouse but since we paid for it I figure it should work.
Is it worth a phone call or should I just forget it?
TIA for any thoughts

Just phone them and they will send another one out, Or if PcWorld still have the base unit in stock take the Mouse & Keyboard & Receiver back to the store (providing you purchased it within 28 days) and they'll exchange in store. If it's over 28 days you need to call KnowHow and they'll post one out.0
