Yesterday Panasonic 42 inch 3D tv 42ST30 model was £899 with blu ray player (no glasses) and still not cheap compared to other retailers.
Today they are a whopping £1299. Argos do not put model numbers on some of the TV's they sell especially Panasonic.
The Panasonic 42GT30 which is a much better model sells for £999 with free 5 year warranty 3D Panasonic blu ray player
and 2 pairs of Panasonic 3D glasses from lots of retailers. I hope Argos puts it's prices down before xmas otherwise this is a bad deal.

Welcome to Christmas pricing - seems to start earlier each year.
For things that they know people tend to buy just before Xmas - and large TVs fall into that category - they put the prices up so massively now so that in a couple of weeks they can "discount" them (Special Offer - was £1299, now £1199!). They may drop prices a little bit further to try to pull people in, but the good prices are gone now until Boxing Day, unless they get desperate for cashflow.0 -
Argos have a plan that Early October to Mid November people will receive that high street vouchers so they can by xmas gifts, so they hike the prices ready for this as most people will use the vouchers straight away. then mid November you will see the prices starting to drop (happens every year with Argos) as they work out most high street vouchers would have been spent by then.0
