Javascript question

This will seem very basic but how do I enable javascript? Sometimes on Facebook I fill out an application form but when I press submit nothing happens and I think it's something to do with javascript. I use Firefox and thought javascript was already enabled but it musn't be and I can't figure out what to do. Can anyone help please? TIA
It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

It's a tickbox in Preferences, Content (or at least it is in the Linux version of FF 5.0).0

Tools -> Options -> Content Tab -> Check "Enable Javascript" box. But it sounds like you have javascript enabled. Facebook doesn't load properly if you have javascript disabled. Which form are you filling in? Perhaps it's just coded incorrectly.0

Well at least I know where to find it now and you're right it is enabled. The form was for a free sample of Blistex (lip balm) but I had a similar problem when I tried to do a survey - it said I had to download javascript (can't remember which version) which I did, but it still wouldn't let me do the survey. It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

You don't download or update javascript. It is built into the browser.
Are you sure it wasn't Flash?
If you could copy and paste the error message that would be helpful.0 -
Don't think so and yes I think it was Flash - that's how techie I'm not. Rolls eyes. If I get the message again I'll come back.bubblesbonbon wrote: »You haven't loaded the No Script plug in parchance? It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0
