I don't receive a gas bill????
Hi, I don't receive a gas bill from my supplier. This is a new connection that was installed in the summer. When I contacted them to be put onto a cheaper tariff they told me that I do not have gas at the property although they installed my meter.
What should I do? I need to use the gas but am worried that they could come along in a few years time and present me with a huge bill. How long could they not charge me for before it's too long?
Thanks.

6 years... this has been coming up quite a lot lately.
If you make reasonable efforts to get a bill every 3 months then they will only back bill you 1 year when they figure it out. If you ignore it then it's 6 years. Read the meter monthly estimate the bill and save the money. You'll get a huge bill but it won't be a surprise:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
