I've not got the letter with me so can't confirm why, but I will look it out tonight. The FOS had originally upheld my complaint and Capital One appealed, however, the FOS have again upheld my complaint. I didn't get any offer from Capital One, when I called the first time a man told me that my claim was with the settlement department and I mentioned I hadn't had any letter or didn't even know how much I was due back. He told me on the phone I was due £981 and then the day after I received a letter from them as above. Hopefully the cheque will be in the post now.0
