Hi,
I am currently on the lookout for a good deal on a basic laptop to send emails and surf the internet.
I see that Dell are offering a £349 incl.VAT & Shipping deal on the following;
Dell Inspiron 1501.
Mobile AMD Sempron Processor 3500+
Genuine Windows XP Home Edition
512MB 533MHz DDR SDRAM
60GB (5400rpm) Harddrive.
Until 31/1/07 offer also includes Free 36 month Mcafee Security Center.
This is available through their HOME January 2007 deals.
I appreciate that it does not have a dvd+/-rw drive but I would not use this anyway.
I also read some reports about an acer for £379 from tesco and just wonder what my best option would be, bearing in mind that I would use the McAfee that is up for grabs with the Dell.:rolleyes:
Any relevant advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
