Hiya,
I am still waiting for a refund, for a fridge freezer that they collected on monday 3rd october. I have spoken to someone on the phone who said 7-14 days. I waited and no refund.
I rang up and was told 5-7 days, we again waited and still no refund. I am not sure what my next step should be.
They have almost £600 of our money, and I need it back urgently.

If you went into store to arrange the refund, you'll need to go back in to collect it.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
No, its a refund back onto a debit card. We didnt go into store unfortunately we bought online. Would it be worth me going into the shop and asking them?£100 - £10,0000

Took me 4 phone calls to get an agreed money off refund for slight damage to a new fridge freezer, gave them a deadline or I would reject it.That did the trick.
A couple of years ago ,i ordered a part from Partmaster (same group as Currys,)they supplied the wrong part and it took me 6 months and constant phone calls to get that back - Poor customer service.0 -
Any idea's what I can do know? I will go into the store later, but I know what they will say. They didnt take the fridge freezer, so they cant refund.
I feel totally helpless, and am desperate for the money back. Do I have any rights in this situation?£100 - £10,0000 -
If they don't refund you, you could call trading standards if you get nowhere. £600 is a lof of money!0

I know. I have also spent the kids xmas money buying another fridge freezer, with the intention of replacing it with this refund money.
Trading standards is a good idea, I could email them again and tell them I am ringing.
I also have seen on another post that I could do a charge back via the visa card we used to pay, but I read this can take months.£100 - £10,0000 -
They have 30 days to do it,so first week in November is when you can really start kicking off over it...0

Just got off the phone to consumer direct, they said to write to them recorded delivery stating breach of contract, giving them X number of working days to refund me, or I will take them to court.
Cant believe I have to do this, just to get money back for a broken fridge freezer!
Thanks everyone x£100 - £10,0000 -
you could look at http://www.!!!!!!/ and see if their CEOs email is listed and email him direct.0
