I would ignore and stop paying for anything on your credit file that says"poor"or"excellent".
It is only a basic indication and not anything that you can't do yourself.
Have a look at your credit report and see what is on there that lenders would not like. Make steps to rectify if needed.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
Each lender has it's own credit score card and an 'excellent' rating does not necessarily mean you will get accepted anywhere.
Things to check.
Are you on the electoral roll
Have you moved recently
Have you changed job recently or gone self employed.
Do you have any defaults, late payments or county court judgements?
Have you any late payments marked on your file?
Do you have a lot of existing but unused credit cards?
Do you have balances on your credit card greater than 25% of your annual income?
All these might trigger declines from certain lenders.
