Thanks for the link, are you able to confirm that this is a fully working free version and not a limited trial or other ? I'd hate to uninstall my version 6 and find out otherwise.

This is a trial version. I downloaded it about a month ago, i now get a pop up saying it will expire on Feb 11th and i should purchase the full version. Funny thing is i never usually download trial versions of programs so it can't of been made obvious at the time. Me thinks it may have been a sneaky move!

As far as I am aware this is not a trial version, it's Free Zone Alarm.jase_uk wrote:This is a trial version. There is an option to try Zone Alarm Pro when installing. At least I know I have done this in the past. After a months trial if you choose not to purchase, it will revert to Free Zone Alarm.i tHink, therEfore I'vE goT a BLOODY heAdAche0 -
Looks like the free version to me, when you install it it offers you a free 15 day trial of the full version but you just click on continue using the free version and away you go. Did cause my PC to hang when I installed it but it seems fine now. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

Not that sneaky when it basically gives two big buttons when installing for trial version or free version. Not sure how you missed that one?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Just went to check this out ( I have the Internet suite). Downloaded it and installed it (expected it to give me the 15 day trial so I could see what it was about then reinstall old version) and its carried over my subscription. Looks like a free upgrade.
Just trying it now to see how it is.... Its now by checkpoint... is this the same as the previous version?? I was sure it said By Zonelabs before..0 -
Seems from old press releses that Checkpoint took over ZoneLabs back in 2003.
I guess they now want to market their brand name on top of ZoneLabs software.Dave. :wave:0 -
blimey, the new version is 38MB, the old 13MB, and I seem to remember it was about 5MB when I started using it
what on earth is in there?0
