Yeah, scan them throught then press finish and pay and whaterver discounts you are getting will be on the screen! If you don't like what you see, just ask for it to be cancelled because you've left your bank card/money in the house!!

I bought an 8 pack of these batteries last nigth from Tescos, the shelf price was £5 but it scanned as £7.47. When I queried it, they gave me twice the difference back

FYI - the packs of four were advertised on the shelf label as £4.47, BOGOF.

Scanned 2 lots of AAA and AA on the self scanner. Clicked "pay now' . but it only reduced the BOGOF , no additional offer.

I didnt click on the option to say how I was going to pay .
Is that correct , or would the other reduction have applied if clicked on 'cash' etc.

Store in Worcestershire.

Scan them in, click pay.
Then u can click back and you see all the discounts come off.
I hope you ran away when you only saw the BOGOF discount :rotfl:

I was a good lad and took them back to the shelf.

Just wanted to be sure at what point any discounts liek this come off. I assume before you select the payment method ?

Unfortunately it doesnt show any discount until you click pay. Then it shows you the list of payment methods.
If you watch the screen carefully before the payment method screen loads up.
You will be able to see all the discounts quickly load up and the total amount will change when you pay.

Therefore you gotta press back, to see if the discounts loaded up.
I was only joking about running away, I just tell the SA i've changed my mind and take them back too :T
