Duracell batteries glitch at Tesco, 16 for £4.47!

Saw this over on HUKD a while ago so went out to Tesco to try out, and it works!

I bought 2 x 4 pk of AA, and 2 x 4 pk of AAA and the till calculated it as follows:

4 x £4.47 = £17.88

Discounts taken off £8.94 and £4.47 leaving a total to pay of £4.47!

wow, thanks, I need a bunch of batteries for our torches for bonfire night. I will check it out tomorrow and hope it's still working!

Just got back from a Tesco Extra - confirm this is working......I bought 4 packs of Duracell AA batteries 4 in a pack. Tried it on 4 first then went back in and got a load more! had run out so this was good timing. thanks!

Not working in my local this morning. staff checked the receipt as it went through and commented on the price of batteries these days. I am sure she must have been told to look for them. Anyway happy to keep them at B1G1F
