Hi,
Am hoping someone can help me... I have created a template in MS Word 2007 to print a table (for a car fuel record) onto a plain sheet of Filofax personal sized plain paper. The size is W9.5cm, H17cm.
The template seems to be OK but my problem is printing it. I have a Canon MP970 printer which I can only get to print single sided so I put the paper in and print the table out on one side... works perfectly. When I reload the paper to print on the other side, it prints the table correctly within the margins of the paper but side 1 is not aligned correctly with side 2.
The problem is, the lines of the table don't match up and I can see all of the table's lines from side 1 showing through on side 2.
Any ideas as to how I can align them perfectly so that they print identically on both sides?
Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to print the exact same page on the side, or have you created 2 templates to accommodate for the punch holes.
When printing, is a duplex printer or single sided printer. Manual double sided is normally, print first side as normal, flip paper over (left to right or vice versa), then turn paper on itself 180%Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Hi neilwoods,
Thanks for your reply. I have a single page document and am trying to print exactly the same page on both sides of the paper. The template seems to accomodate for the holes on both sides as when I flip the paper over, the holes are on the same side of the printer each time.
I print the first side and then turn the paper over. If I put it in the same way as I did the first time, I get a horizontal offset. If I turn the paper 180 as you suggest, I get a vertical offset instead.

Yeah the way you turn it down what type of printer.
Anyway, i think it is down to your margins. Create a new document, on the margins, swap the left and right margin's over, so left value over to right and right value over to left. Then copy and paste exactly the same text. Also if you have is set to Align text left on first document, need to change that to Align Right on second document.
That is what i just tried and worked (on laser printer at least)Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Thanks, will try the margins.0
